While I’m writing if I’m not listening to music, I tend to watching movies. Specifically musicals. I think musicals get the crappy end of the stick for some reason. It’s insane that they don’t always get the love they deserve.
I don’t know why but a lot of people just don’t care for them. When really the music is beautiful and the choreography is amazing. Granted some of it can be a bit cheesy, the story lines are quite good. The sets can and effects can very from good to poor but that all depends on when they were made.
So bear with me while I go on a musical review for a few posts. If there is one you think I should see or have any suggestions you would like to see a review on, please leave it in the comments and I’ll see what I can do.
A musical movie? Or a staged one? If it’s a movie, try Mary Poppins or The Sound of Music, those are good. The recent gig of Into the Woods was quite good I heard. I have a couple of reviews for staged shows, so do check them out! My blog is mainly about musicals and Disney.

At the moment musical movies. I’m not sure if I own any staged ones, even though I love those as well. They add an even better quality with the orchestra. Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music are among my favorites and shall be making an appearance.

I suggest the movie adaptation of Rent. It’s on netflix but do be forewarned: it’s not the happiest musical.
