For Porphyria’s Lovers

Poems

Face to face, I know
you two must wonder
what did I find common
in the likes of you,
to live with one in affection
and still be drawn
to the other one!

You might ponder too
at each others’ virtues and sins,
though I don’t recall saying,
I sought the beauty of your skins!

I know, you shall grow
green with wild rage and envy
but there’s more to you than what meets your eyes!

It’s all a dream, my lovers –
all an ever fading dream!
I too have lost my ways
inside the maze, both complex and serene!

Come, my lovers, liberate yourselves
from such petty things and together, let us dream!
I too am in love with one,
though I do not know what it means!
Perhaps, the poet did
but he is no more in this world…

I'm an author with an associate's in psychology. Interested in a lot of different things, and love controversy. The more controversial the better, but that's not all I'm interested in. Can be a bit confusing at times, but that's normal!
